The Man Behind The Mask Posts: 558 Group: Administrators Member #78 Joined: February 23, 2006	In this video here, FUNimation officially announced that they picked up the Dragon Box for Z. In fact, they're releasing them with about 40 episodes in each box for $80 a pop. Expensive, BUT they'll all come with hardcover booklets - and even the original Japanese cover art for the Boxes! I'm super super pumped, because I held out and didn't get the orange bricks. Here's a thing, though, and they point it out as well: this is for the hardcore fans. It defaults to Japanese audio with English subs - but, it also has the dub available. Just not track 1. Oh yeah... and... FINALLY THE NEXT EPISODE PREVIEWS!!! Yes, and those will be dubbed too. The Man Behind The Mask Posts: 558 Group: Administrators Member #78 Joined: February 23, 2006	It appears that the first set will be 42 episodes. That sounds like it stops at an awkward place, but I got no clue. Hopefully the breaks make more sense than the season sets do.

I'm worried bout the birtate. Also, con panel said both dub soundtracks. Given how reliable they've been (same rep said DB and GT would be widescreen), I'm gonna hold out and hope they're leaving out the dub soundtrack. Despite nostalgia, I'd prefer better video bitrate over a 3rd audio track.

The DBox features high-quality audio by comparison to what we've been given - none of that hiss stuff, or at least a lot less. Still mono. The issue is, in order to keep video quality, they may compress the three audio tracks - thus, the Japanese audio will be effected. Not as bad as what we've been given before, but it would be a step down from what we COULD be getting. I just hope we get only 1 dub so that doesn't happen, whether it be original or FUNi music. I won't be watching it anyways other than a few spot-checks on awesome scenes.
