All that awaits you is a somber morrow
|
As the title suggests, what are all of your guys' favorite movies? My favorites are the three Broly movies, and Dead Zone. Wrath of The Dragon was pretty amazing too. |

All that awaits you is a somber morrow No matter where the winds may blow My friend, your desire Is the bringer of life, the gift of the goddess Even if the morrow is barren of promises Nothing shall forestall my return" ~ LOVELESS ~ Act III | |

The Man Behind The Mask

1. Path to Power/Ultimate Strength. This the DragonBALL (not Z) 10th anniversary special, and is an interesting retelling of Goku's beginnings in which he fights the Red Ribbon army first. Not only is the animation top-notch (think GT with a much bigger budget), but I always preferred Dragonball to Z. 2. World's Strongest. Perhaps not the greatest plot, but the Ocean dub to this movie is MAGNIFICENT! 3. Cooler's Revenge, out of nostalgia. First one I saw. |

Cooler's Revenge was my first too. It's what got me really into Dragon Ball Z. I found DragonBall better myself, probably because the fights were actual fights, not staring contests leading up to one massive finisher. |

It's funny how at first that seems an unpopular opinion, then you actually congregate with other fans and they agree. |

To be honest, I've only seen the first three (plus a horribly dubbed version of the fourth one long before it was released in America). In which case, I choose the first two. With The World's Strongest Man being number one. As bkev stated, the Ocean was amazing. Love it. That's why I refuse to buy the DVD version. I can't stand the FUNimation redubs of the original Pioneer version. Now, I can handle it when they picked up the series starting with the Ginyu Saga. Redubs... no!! |

The Man Behind The Mask

The one cast member that is superior in every way to the FUNi dub would definitely be Scott McNeil as Piccolo. Sabat was okay at one point, but as of recent it's become too deep - and almost indistinguishable from his Vegeta. |
