Much thanks to Big V and to y'all for actually taking the time to read my drivel here, I seriously wondered if anybody did! Just remember, it's all about you, K? Anyway, there's only one word for THIS lil' tidbit...BOO-YA!!!!!!!! For those of you too young to remember it (hell, it was done even when I was a kid!!), this one's a classic, truly worth a watch if anything just to see how far mecha anime has progressed over the years, provided this is the original series of which the link speaks. We won't mention what my mood will change to if it turns out to be 'Voltron 3D'.... :angry: And damn it, I wanted to go to this!!!!! Truly an extraveganza, this one's a full-weekend-long fun fest, even if you DON'T drink beer! Come to think of it, this'll be only the second one I've missed since moving here...go figure. And, yep, you've probably already seen this one, but I had to share it again anyway...Leave it to 'The Poodle' to open mouth and insert foot, I guess the troops found him as boneheaded as I did. Man, I laughed my ass off!!! Way to go, jackass!!! He never ceases to entertain, does he? Found this rather interesting, depending on your own viewpoint, this could be either horrendous news or the best thing to come down the pike in years. I tend to be optimistic and think the reasons for the decline are simply from outside sources getting more involved in the same thing, i.e. US anime, or, comparitively speaking, like suddenly every joe-shmo leaping up to try to produce a bigger, better, faster computer since IBM made it big with them. Keep practicing, kiddies, you're at an ideal time to be getting into it as your future outlooks may be a whole lot more promising very soon. /end

You might wanna hold up after reading THIS lil' bit!!!!!!!! Only thing that concerns me with these is the comment re: 'revised English'...I'm wondering if that's a good thing...I plan on picking these babies up as soon as they're available. Bring 'em on!!!!! I know, kinda short this time on the dialogue, I beg forgiveness...back to calculus homework... /end

Worthless Dog Posts: 729 Group: Members Member #32 Joined: September 13, 2005	M'kay, a little bit of fun for awhile... I have mixed thoughts on THIS ONE, I both rejoice and regret. I'm on one hand glad that 4Kids will finally get their grubby paws out of One Piece, thereby giving somebody else a possible chance to repair the damage done to it. On the other hand, the potential of different voice actors to help complete said repair is obviously quite high, and I do admit that I like 4Kids' cast. I currently have my own list of 'possible replacements' that I'd like to see fill the voids left by 4Kids' cast, but, obviously, I have no say in the matter! I did, however, find this response to this news, and I found it perfectly fitting! Posted Image Also found THIS for you Detetive Conan fans. The site referred to, however, is strictly in Japanese, so unless you've got one hell of a good translator, you'll not get much from it. Sure is pretty to look at though! Any Death Note fans here? You'll be interested in THIS then. This one's apparently a definite, not a come-on this time. Should prove to be interesting if you're a fan. And, as a final bit, HERE'S one I've been waiting for! So far, I'm quite impressed and can't wait to see this one for myself. Should I not get the opportunity to post again beforehand, have a good Christmas, y'all. /end :D

Toonami gets a serious kick in the ass! Scroll down on 12/23, Saturday, we got Prince of Tennis and MAR comng to Toonami on 12/23...looking forward to both, hope y'all get to see both. They were both previously only on Tooonami's 'Jetstream', but fan voice has apparently brought both to the TV schedule...enjoy!

Worthless Dog Posts: 729 Group: Members Member #32 Joined: September 13, 2005	Actually did some channel surfing this Sunday and was quite surprised to find THIS CHANNEL playing 'Samurai Deeper'! When I checked the schedule, they apparently run at least one anime episode every Sunday, so check each Sunday's schedule for any you might be interested in. 'Saiyuki - Reload' is on this Sunday, though it's only the episode where Sanzo discovers he's allergic to the cat the others insist on dragging along with them. Dull, but funny in its own way. Good article HERE on some new anime/manga stuff. I admit I was quite glad to see 'Fate/Stay Night' finally get a little attention. While I was never a huge fan of the game, I have found myself drawn to this one, simply for the artwork if nothing else. The story is pretty nifty as well, so it'll be fun to see how this one does on its own. How 'bout THIS ONE?? WAAAY cool!! There's a parade I would've like to see, click on the picture to get the full effect of this lineup! Movie News from Funimation HERE, 'Robotech - The Shadow Chronicles' is the latest offering. Looks like another limited release, so I'll keep a check on this one to see if it manages to get closer than 'Conqueror of Shamballa' did. Here's hoping! And, DAMN IT, I MUST HAVE THIS!!!! Why is it that this kind of stuff comes out AFTER I manage to pick up the first DVD release??? Not only that, but how lame are things around here that I can't even FIND this set!!!??? And I love commentaries, I genuinely get a kick out of watching the flic with the people involved in its making relating their own memories/views/experiences. My fave remains David Matragna of 'Saiyuki' fame (Genjo Sanzo) relating his experiences of traveling by plane back and forth for recording sessions. He tells of a particular trip when it looked like the plane was about to crash, his only thought was 'Hope they don't dock my pay to my survivors!' /end

Wow, it's funny how little I do that, sleep just seems so inefficient...any more than four hours at any given time for me is a rarity... OK, on with the tidbits... Found THIS quite interesting as I've been keeping up with this series when I've got the extra cash for the manga. Quite a neat little tale, should do well as an anime provided Viz gets some decent voice actors. In relation to that article, I also found a little poll y'all might wanna participate in. 'Death Note' obviously got my vote. What amazes me is how many 'None of these excite me' responses this poll got, are people just flat out lazy or plain idiotic??? For those of you looking for a decent quick FREE translator (only handles 500 characters at a time, unfortunately, but fairly accurate when done), I found this one from a friend of mine in CA. Did her Russian-to-English lyrics pretty well, but I must advise to use at your own risk. I don't think I'd go quoting these translations on research papers or anything, but you'll get the general idea of what you're trying to read with it. And for those of you too poor to afford to buy your own, a truly awesome friend of mine sent me this incredible link for manga scans. With 273 different series currently on their site, they're not kidding when they say they have an 'extensive library'! Enjoy, but allow me to warn you now, at times, the site is slow, you're likely to get an error message during peak times (lots'a traffic here!), but be patient. My only complaint so far is that the Inu Yasha manga are STILL flopped!!! In hindsight, if y'all find that any of the links I stick up here do not work for ya and you REALLY want to see what the hell I'm talkin' about, please feel free to PM me and I'll see what the deal is and hopefully get ya to where you wanna go. /end

I'm both pleased and miffed at the choices, to say the least, but the end result is positive in my opinion. At least anime is finally getting some attention! Got a good chuckle out of THIS as anybody who's ever been to a con has their own 'fantastic happenin's' stories and their own 'horror' stories to share...Hmmm, what am I getting myself into??? How did I get talked into this again???? Blackcat, I'm gonna beat you senseless, girl! (bribed me into the whole 'let's go to CA for a con!' thing...EGADS...) As a final note, I'm currently embroiled in my latest classes, so if I happen to disappear for stretches of time, please be understanding. No, I haven't died (yet!), I'm just trying to get through binary coding classes! /end

WINNERS for the American Anime Awards are now posted...nice to see FMA still has the pull, five out of twelve ain't too shabby. Also good to see FLCL get some much deserved love and attention. And, we get a little something new on Adult Swim soon, I, for one am quite interested to see this one. BLOOD + comin' soon! For you Naruto fans, I think VIZ will take care of ya soon. Be interesting to see this movie, heard some about it, but not enough to be relevant at this point. I'll keep an eye on this one. For those of you FMA fans who haven't seen THIS, I had to share! This guy as Hughes was just so damned good, I laughed like hell! And, as a final note, I HAD to put this one up here, this is too nifty to keep! TOYOTA'S new toy! I liiiiiike it!!! /end

HERE'S a bit I've been waiting and truly hoping for for about 2 months now. Yeah, yeah, YEAH!!! Funi got 'One Piece'! Now, let us all keep our fingers crossed and our rum glasses full in hopes that they ressurect and restore this one to its former glory. No listing for voice cast at the moment, though, I've got my own ideas, of course, but I'll keep an eye out for further info. TAKE THIS ONE however you like, I'm not all that thrilled with it, but I remain hopeful that the movie will come out decent despite all the big Hollywood hoop-la names involved in it. Can't say John Goodman would be my first pick to play 'Pops', but hey, who the hell am I to judge? Granted, THIS ONE has no verification links to it, but still might be interesting to keep an eye on, which, of course, I shall. Hmmm, new DBZ on XBox 360...might be fun! For you 'Kingdom Hearts' fans, THIS IS apparently NO April's Fools Joke as some thought. It's definitely for real, it's just a waiting game now to see how long it takes this one to arrive on this side o' the pond. Be patient, children, I know it's tough, though. OK, OK, I admit it'll be fun to see new NARUTO stuff, but, and you've got to read this entire article to get the reference, I just don't think it's got the distance to outdo DBZ...sorry, that's my opinion, Icould be wrong, but I just don't think so. Naruto, for what it is, is a decent series, yes, but to top DBZ, it's got a LOOOOONG way to go in my eyes. It'll be interesting to watch, though. K, I think that's enough of a rant for now. Had a rough few months here, much has happened, but I'm still with ya, hope all is well with you as well. Now on to the reason you read my drivel! Found THIS bit a day or so ago, falls into the category of 'Stop me if you've heard THIS one before', scroll the page up to read the article in English, of course. Yep, you guessed it, it's roughly the same whine and dance the music industry pulled, too. Downloading is the ultimate evil! Instead of addressing the problem head on, the anime industry follows suit w/the music industry...sit back, do nothing, and complain. So far, their only solution has been to raise the price of DVD's. I guess that's fair, if you can follow their logic. In essence what they HAVE done, however, is cut off guys like me, still in favour of having the product physically in their hot lil' hands, considered an oddity by most, but there's more of us than one would believe. At ten or twelve bucks a DVD a few years back, it wasn't out of the realm of possibilities to simply grab and go with something. Now, however, at 18 to 27 bucks a DVD, I find I am less likely to pick something up randomly that I've never heard of simply because the cover 'looks interesting' or the brief story caps on the back of said case 'grabs my attention'. I'm not buying unless I know what I'm getting now! This reminds me also of gun laws...by making the things virtually impossible to acquire, you cut off those who actually want them for their intended purposes. Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face, huh? On a brighter note, who says rock stars are simply out for themselves? Think OZZY'S YARD SALE proved THAT one wrong! And I can picture the dude clinging to some prized possession like a treasured child as somebody buys it, too...I got a chuckle out of this one, and what the hell? It's for a good cause, what with his own wife recently suffering with colon cancer. Shows the guy's got more heart than most believe, I think. And finally, talk about laughing your ass off! Ahhh, yes...THE ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN LIVES!!! I have to laugh at nonsense like this...it's just too ridiculous! Can't wait to see what kind of hoax THIS one turns out to be. These are the same people who want to convince you they've been abducted by aliens or some crap, too, don't forget! /end

Recently back from Baltimore, I now find myself riding out Tropical Storm Fay...always knew it would be a woman to cause me grief. At the moment, we've got rain...LOTS and LOTS of rain...the worst is yet to come. Consider where it is now and where it's going, yeah, gonna be a wild time for me. Direct hit...least it's only going to be a possible Category 1. Now so long as the half dead palm tree in my yard doesn't fall on me...but just a note to let y'all know I'm still here! /end
