Here's a curiosity question, I don't know the true answer, though I have a pretty good idea why... Why was there such a stink over the release of Super Android 13 years ago? What was soooooo wrong with the movie that it so easily offended people to the point that I remember boycotts of theatres that played it? And, of course, those 'protesting' it had no clue what it was, most had never even heard of DBZ, it just seemed like a sheep-flocking-together kind of thing...

As I said, I don't know the real reason for the chaos surrounding this movie, but your answer sounds like a winner to me. It'd be nice to find out the real reason, but I'm so far coming up empty. I thought possibly the usual stereotypical image of 'Southern Redneck' (13 himself) could be the cause, but after reconsidering the fact that rednecks LOVE that kind of thing, I decided it couldn't be that. So long as he puts up a good fight, rednecks won't care if he wins or loses. And the question floor is now yours, Big V.
